A dockstart board with a minimalist design

The Skull 80 is recognized by its outline resembling a skeleton or a skateboard. This shape serves a concrete purpose: to maintain space at the support points while reducing material between the feet.

Its narrowed central size facilitates handling during the jump start. Its dimensions of 80 × 34 cm limit bulk and inertia to accompany the rider's movements in pumping. Every detail contributes to a compact board, designed for precision and responsiveness.

A double concave for precise support

The deck features a pronounced concave at the front and rear foot. These contours provide tactile references to find your position and adjust your support without looking at your feet.

The fine construction promotes a direct feel of the foil's movements and precise heel-to-toe control. The low front rocker provides a margin of tolerance during touches, while maintaining the minimalist character of the Skull 80.

Lightness and stiffness in the service of pumping

To maintain flight in pumpfoil, the board must transmit support with precision while limiting inertia. The Skull 80 uses a pre-impregnated carbon construction, a 20 mm Airex core, two carbon stringers, and ultra-high modulus carbon reinforcements.

Manufactured under pressure in an aluminum mold, it combines lightness and rigidity to support accelerations and changes in rhythm. The US rails are integrated into the carbon structure. When you choose the "With Inserts" option, the strap inserts are also integrated into the construction.

A French manufacturing, in our workshop in Savoie

The Skull 80 is made in our workshop near Aix-les-Bains. The molding, finishing, and preparation of your board are carried out by our team, with the same attention given to the parts that make up the KETOS foils.

We work with French suppliers specialized in composite materials. This proximity allows us to monitor production and evolve our products based on feedback from practitioners.

The three paint finishes allow you to choose the appearance of your board. The deck coating and inserts can be selected from the corresponding sections of the configurator.

Standard : a finish that reveals the carbon and highlights the construction of the board.
KETOS Model : a decoration to choose from the designs offered by the brand.
Custom : a personalized decoration project, defined with our team according to your desires and the possibilities of realization.

Which deck coating to choose?

The Skull 80 offers two deck coatings to adapt the contact under your feet to your preferences.

Non-slip : a non-slip finish in the varnish for riders who prefer direct contact with the board, without a pad.
Black Thin 2 Parts Pad : a thin two-part pad to provide comfort at the points of contact while maintaining a precise feel of the foil.
