The DOCK KOBUN 85 (85 x 38cm) was developed with a clear goal : pushing the limits of downwind in pumping. Wider than the Skull, it provides the essential stability to harness large wings and absorb the imbalances generated by the swell. In more sustained conditions, the most committed riders can even pair it with a parawing to explore new sensations between disciplines.
After extensive testing, the KOBUN 85 has also attracted another category of practitioners: endurance pumpers. It combines the lightness and rigidity of a performance board with the tolerance and intuition offered by its rocker and concave. As a result, small piloting errors or lapses in concentration due to fatigue no longer automatically lead to a return to swimming.
The DNA of Skull, the Downwind soul
It features its iconic "skeleton" look, reminiscent of a skateboard or guitar, which allows for an ergonomic grip during the jump start. But the Kobun 85 goes further:
Extended adjustment : Its integrated full carbon US rails offer an adjustment range of 10 cm, allowing for perfect balance adjustment according to the Kobun wingused (from 133 for light winds to 99 for experts).
Maximum proprioception : The pronounced concave deck locks your feet in place. You feel every micro-movement of the swell, allowing you to anticipate the next connection without taking your eyes off the water.
The touch of tolerance:Its slight rocker will provide the necessary tolerance for a quick recovery and to get back up high on the mast at the slightest mistake.
