Description
The Kobun range does not just push the limits; it embodies the perfect harmony between an aesthetic inspired by Japanese culture and radical technical efficiency. Each component is designed to offer smooth and precise gliding, regardless of the sport: pump, wing, or parawing. You will feel total control even at full speed on massive swells or almost at a standstill on the 4th wave of a boat that passed 3 minutes ago.
KOBUN Front Wing (99, 111, 122 or 133)
A true revolution. The Kobun 133 (Surface: 1330cm²) and 122 (Surface: 1220cm²) are the first wings specifically designed for the Downwind on lake on a small board. They allow you to chain downwind runs and pump sections on the flat without ever losing your cruising speed. The release and their wingspan make them formidable weapons in the small conditions.
For a more intense, bigger conditions or more committed turns, the Kobun 111 (Surface: 990cm²) and 99 (Surface: 777cm²) are your allies. Their reduced wingspan makes them more maneuverable and more incisive. The Kobun 111 is currently 1st female in the world pump slalom championship and 2nd male.
All wings in the Kobun range have an aspect ratio of 13.5.
The choice of Mast: Custom stiffness
Our masts are offered by default in 80 cm (versatility), but also available in 75 cm (maximum stiffness) or 85 cm (comfort at sea/wing).
- ULTRA 2 : For the most demanding riders looking for optimal glide without compromising on stiffness. The energy return is instantaneous and transforms the pump into acceleration. Its mechanical properties are pushed to the maximum thanks to the Ultra High Modulus carbon used. Minimum thickness: 13 mm
- FORTRESS : For uncompromising riders in terms of stiffness. This mast features a carbon Ultra High Modulus construction and an imposing geometry that ensures robustness and force transfer without bending. Minimum thickness: 13.5 mm
The stab: give character to your foil
Compatible with the entire range Pump Knives, choose the surface that suits your practice and level. To unlock your pump setup, opt for the smallest stabs on the market (55cm² or 85cm²). Reserved for experts! To stabilize the whole in multiple practices, choose the PK stabs with more surface area (PK105 or PK135).
Fuselage : Adjustment precision
The assembly is articulated around theKlever Fuselage :
- The assembly with the S30 fuselage: the KLEVER S and the PT30 tail is the most optimized for pump practice.
- The assembly with the M30 fuselage: the KLEVER M and the PT30 tail is the most versatile and efficient for effective multidisciplinary practice.
