A direct heir of the legendary 1570LD, this setup pushes the sliders of gliding and speed to an unprecedented level. Designed for endurance and absolute efficiency, it is the tool used by our team rider Modjo to set exceptional records, including 50 km of pumping covered in 3h02min non-stop. It is simply the most high-performing wing ever produced by Ketos.

The Wing 166 LD: The new standard of performance

The 166 LD is the result of three years of refinement based on the famous 1570LD. We have reworked the profiles to further reduce drag and increase top speed. The result: a wing that accelerates from the first impulses and maintains exemplary lift, even at low cadence. It’s the weapon of choice for those who want to push their personal limits in distance and time.

The Board: Kobun 85

The perfect chassis for your 166 LD. With its 1.190 kg, this ultra-light board from our 125-ton press in Aix-les-Bains guarantees total energy transfer. Its minimalist shape, with its locking concave deck, ensures surgical control during critical pumping phases.

The Mast: FORTRESS (Absolute Stiffness)

For this performance-oriented pack, we have selected the mast FORTRESS. It combines an Ultra High Modulus carbon construction and an imposing geometry for unmatched robustness and force transfer. It does not flex, even under the most powerful loads over long distances. (Available in 80 cm by default, 75 cm for more stiffness, or 85 cm for more comfort).
